Frequently asked questions

Short, direct answers about the DrAyriAddons mod for Minecraft 1.21 Donut SMP play. If your question isn't here, the troubleshooting page usually has the rest.

General

What is DrAyriAddons?

DrAyriAddons is a free Minecraft 1.21 Fabric utility mod created for the Donut SMP community. It bundles building (EasyPlace), exploration (BaseFinder, ChestESP), movement (ElytraBoost), inventory (AutoEat, ChestStealer) and PvP helpers (Auto Totem, Anchor Macro) into a single configurable HUD.

Is it really free?

Yes. There are no paid modules, no premium tier, no ads, and no shortener-wrapped downloads. The jar comes from drayriaddons.com directly.

Who maintains the mod?

A small independent team that originally built it for in-house Donut SMP sessions. Updates ship in response to bugs, server changes, and the most-requested community ideas.

Compatibility

Which Minecraft version do I need?

Minecraft 1.21 (Java Edition) with Fabric Loader. Older 1.20.x branches are not supported by the 1.1.x release line.

Does it work on Forge or NeoForge?

No. DrAyriAddons is a Fabric mod only. Forge / NeoForge builds are not planned.

Will it conflict with Sodium, Lithium or Iris?

No. Those three are the most common pairing and are explicitly tested every release. Indium and Continuity also work.

Can I run it with OptiFine?

No. OptiFine is not Fabric-compatible. Use Sodium + Iris instead — they give better framerates anyway.

Does it work on Linux and macOS?

Yes. The mod is pure Java and runs on any platform that Minecraft does — Windows, macOS, Linux.

Does it work on cracked Minecraft?

The mod itself doesn't care, but most modded servers (including Donut SMP) require a paid Minecraft account. Cracked launchers are not supported.

Donut SMP & rules

Will I get banned on Donut SMP?

Every server enforces its own rules. We recommend reading Donut SMP's terms before installing any third-party client mod. Use at your own discretion.

Does the mod work on other SMPs?

Yes. None of the modules are hard-coded to a specific server. Players have reported working setups on Hugo SMP and several private Donut-style realms.

Performance

Will it tank my FPS?

Impact is minimal. The HUD is GPU-light, scanners use throttled background ticks, and the mod runs well even on mid-tier laptops paired with Sodium.

How much RAM does it need?

Roughly the same as vanilla Minecraft. 4 GB allocated is enough for a clean install; 6–8 GB is recommended if you also run Iris shaders.

How big is the jar?

Around 170 KB. No external libraries are bundled.

Install & updates

How do I install it?

Install Fabric Loader for 1.21, drop the jar into .minecraft/mods, launch the Fabric 1.21 profile. Full walkthrough at /guide/.

How do I update?

Replace the old jar with the new one in your mods folder. Configs are kept between versions.

Where are configs stored?

.minecraft/config/drayriaddons/. One JSON file per module.

How do I uninstall?

Delete the jar from the mods folder. To wipe configs as well, delete the config/drayriaddons/ folder.
